Within the framework of the Istanbul Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan (SKUP) Phase II – Implementation Plan Project, the “5th Steering Committee Meeting” was held on January 13, 2025, with the participation of representatives from the Delegation of the European Union to Türkiye, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Türkiye, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, and GIZ.
The meeting focused on the current status of the project, ongoing activities, and future steps. Participants shared their views and suggestions in line with the goal of creating a sustainable, accessible, and integrated transport system.
Discussions highlighted the progress achieved in the project, efforts on transport infrastructure, social accessibility and sustainability, as well as the roadmap to achieve long-term objectives.
The SKUP Project continues to be an important step toward making Istanbul a more livable, accessible, and environmentally friendly city.
